Daycare

What better way for your dog to spend his/her day than to come to Canine Cottage for a fun filled day of play with friends? Drop off any time between 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. and pick up between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m M-F. Saturday pick up by 5:00 p.m. and Sunday by 4:00 p.m. Your dog will go home happy and tired! We offer outdoor play time on equipment by “Puppy Playground” and “Little Tikes,” dips in the pool (weather permitting), and ball chasing with our experienced and caring staff. Rest time is from 12 – 2 every day before heading out for afternoon activities.

Daycare is offered every day of the year EXCEPT major holidays (New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day).

Daycare Rules:

Dogs MUST be socialized with other dogs.

Every dog must come for a TRIAL day before being allowed to participate regularly in daycare. The trial day is free of charge. Please bring proof of up to date vaccinations on the trial day.

All daycare dogs must have proof of up to date Distemper, Parvo and Rabies. Must also have proof of a negative fecal within one year. Titers are accepted in lieu of vaccinations.

Any dog showing aggression to the other dogs or to Canine Cottage staff will be removed from the play group and the owner will be called to pick up the dog.

All male dogs must be neutered by the age of 1 year old. Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis at the discretion of management.

Female dogs that are in season cannot come for daycare.

Rates

$15 per day / per dog.  There is a $2 discount offered on the second dog for multiple dog families. There is no discount for half days.

Check-In

All daycare dogs must be dropped off prior to 12:00 NOON. There are no half day rates for daycare.

Check-Out

All dogs not picked up by closing time (6:00 p.m. M-F, Saturday 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 4:00 p.m.) will be boarded overnight and charged a one night's boarding fee.
