Vaccines

All dogs must be up-to-date with the following vaccines or Titer Tests:

Parvo
Distemper
Rabies

We do NOT require the Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccine. Many dogs who receive this vaccine still may develop the respiratory infection due to the variety of strains that are present every year. It is similar to the human flu virus - you may get vaccinated for one particular strain but another strain becomes prevalent and you are not protected from that strain. Here at Canine Cottage, we are very diligent about keeping your pet's living and playing areas cleaned and sanitized several times a day.
